The end of the year is upon us and I would like to thank everyone for a wonderful year. The help of all members and non-members is graciously recognized.

Freeport R & R will be hosting a reloading class on December 29th 2013 at 1pm. Cost of the class is $10 which goes to the Freeport Junior club.
A USPSA Range Officer class will be held May 24th & May 25th 2014. This is a 2 day class and you must be able to attend both days. First day of class will be held at the Nassau County Shooting Range (Mitchell Field). Second day of class will be held at LIPSA. Cost of the class is $60.00, checks can be made out to Mike Halpin. December Matches & Events
December 1st:.22 Holiday Blowout Match - 8 stages, 180/90 rounds, 10 round magazines only. Guns loaded to 10 rounds. (No 10 + 1). Divisions will be Open Pistol, Limited Pistol, Open Rifle, Limited Rifle. Limited is iron sights only, Open is any optic or scope. This match will feature a neutralize system in which a target may be optionally engaged with only 1 round in the "A" zone. Any 2 hits will count as a neutralize or a single hit in the "A" zone. Online pre-registration for this match will open on the morning of 11/23.
(Updated) December 8th:USPSA Match & LIPSA Annual Meeting - 7 stages (6 + Classifier). Approx 148 rounds. Divisions for this match will be Open, Limited, Limited 10, Single Stack, Production & Revolver. Stage descriptions posted below.

December 14th:Junior Shooters Safety Class - 9:00am start time. Open to anyone 14 to 21 years old. (Must be accompanied by the parent whose handgun he or she is using).
What to bring:
- Proof of age (birth certificate, passport, driver's license) - Handgun (.380 caliber or larger) - SASS (Cowboy) shooters bring second handgun - Holster - 2 magazines or speed loaders and magazine pouches - 30 rounds of ammo - Pistol license listing guns you've brought
Class will consist of safety briefing and competition procedures, followed by live-fire session to demonstrate the techniques covered in the training. Photos for ID cards will be taken after the live-fire session. Depending on the turn out, we should be done by around noon.
